Every situation that exists in your life is an on-going story which has the inherent capacity to switch directions at any moment, especially those that involve other people. Nothing ever stands still and nothing ever ends. Even after one’s death, the impact one has on others or the unique color they’ve added to the world lives on. At any time, a situation, relationship, job, etc. can come to an end, and it will be exactly that ending which sparks a new beginning, thus evolving its existence into new form.

Every person we encounter, every vibe we emit, and every thought we think has an effect on ourselves and the world at large. We are forever weaving ourselves into the larger tapestry of humanity, and in no way, shape, or form can we avoid being a key player in the evolution of the human species. Even babies who are born for only a few fleeting moments, including those who are not born at all, still have an impact on the bigger picture. Their seemingly futile existence will still leave an ever-lasting imprint on the parents or family members who are, in one way or another, impacted by their having come to be.

The truth is, we’re all here, having an impact, making waves, and emitting a frequency which will forever leave a mark on this planet and its people. We’re here to expand consciousness in the direction of our unique hopes and dreams. Along the way, we entwine ourselves into the story lines of others, sometimes adding bands of gold or flashes of light to a landscape that would have been otherwise bland or insignificant. That gold or light can come in the form of a smile, an act of kindness, or a lifelong love affair. Brevity, therefore, does not necessarily determine longevity. To a man who is shunned by his family and society, a single smile from a passerby can have a lasting impact.

All that to say, we mustn’t downplay the effect we have on one another. We’re all constantly co-creating life as we know it, threading ourselves into the lives of others and leaving our mark with every thought, word, and action. To say that one person is not enough to change the world is a horribly debilitating misconception, because every one person that exists is changing the world, whether they realize it or not. The question is, are you changing it consciously and to the best of your ability, living a life of love and aliveness, and manifesting those things into your environment? Or are you a victim to the life you lead, begrudgingly trekking into the paths of others, leaving scowls and scuff-marks along the way.

With every passing moment, you are creating your reality and are partaking in the realities of those around you. When you choose to be happy, when you choose love, you not only light up your world from the inside out, but that brilliance then saturates the entirety of the field of energy you occupy, brightening your surrounding environment and therefore, the world at large. If we all stood a little taller and shown a little brighter, the world would be a much more luminous and whimsical place.

What the world needs is for you to be you. Soul out.
